Cannabis Global, Inc. Announces the Completion of Research and Development Testing for Infused Drink Straws Cannabis Global, Inc. announced the completion of research and development testing for infused drink straws, which will be introduced to the marketplace over the coming weeks. Cannabis Global has been selected as the manufacturer and distributor for the licensed and regulated California marketplace. Cannabis infused drinking straws hold the potential to change the entire "edibles" category of cannabis retail products. Cannabis Global, Inc. Announces Executive Changes On July 21, 2022, Cannabis Global, Inc. announced that Principal Executive Officer and Principal Accounting and Financial Officer, Arman Tabatabaei, resigned his positions. Mr. Tabatabaei's resignations were not the result of any disagreements with the Company, known to an executive officer of the Registrant, as defined in 17 CFR 240.3b-7,on any matter relating to the registrant's operations, policies, or practices. Mr. Tabatabaei will continue to work with the Company as a non-executive consultant from August 1, 2022, to August 31, 2022, with an option for continued services in the month of September 2022. Effective July 21, 2022, the company named Edward Manolos as Principal Executive Officer and Principal Accounting and Financial Officer. Mr. Manolos has served on the board of directors since May 25, 2019. The company and Mr. Manolos entered a contract providing for a monthly salary of $5,000 payable in cash or an equivalent number of common shares. Mr. Manolos is one of the founders and Directors of Cannabis Global, Inc. and is an accomplished pioneer in California's Medical Marijuana industry. In 2004, he opened the very first Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Los Angeles County under the name CMCA. He has managed and operated over thirty-five dispensaries from Los Angeles to San Jose including twenty in Los Angeles Pre-ICO/Proposition D. He is also credited with starting Los Angeles' first Medical Marijuana farmers market referred to as The California Heritage Farmer's Market," which attracted local and international media attention and was the first of its kind. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Marijuana Company of America. In 2016, Mr. Manolos was appointed to the advisory board of Marijuana Company of America and Cannabis Strategic Venturesand was tasked with identifying and structuring strategic partnerships and driving product development. Am Is, Inc., East West Pharma Group, Inc. and New Horizons Laboratory Services, Inc. MCTC Holdings, Inc. (OTCPK:MCTC) entered into an agreement to acquire Lelantos Biotech, Inc. from Mount Fire, LLC, Ma Helen M. Am Is, Inc., East West Pharma Group, Inc. and New Horizons Laboratory Services, Inc. for $0.61 million on February 12, 2020. MCTC will pay 0.4 million of its common shares to Mount Fire and $0.5 million in the form on acquisition notes to Ma Helen M. Am Is, East West Pharma Group and New Horizons Laboratory Services in the amounts of $0.23 million, $0.05 million and $0.23 million respectively. The first one hundred thousand shares are eligible at any time. The remaining 0.3 million will be available at the rate of 0.1 million shares during any thirty day period. The leak out can be canceled at any time by the MCTC board of directors based on majority vote of the Directors. The transaction is subject to the unanimous approval of the Board of Directors of both of MCTC and Lelantos. The transaction is approved by the Board of Lelantos Biotech.
