Alkaline Water expects to post record revenue in Q1

Alkaline Water (NASDAQ:WTER) shares rose ~6% pre-market on Wednesday after the beverage company said that it expects to report record revenue for the first quarter of FY23. Q1 revenue is seen at $16.4-$16.6M compared to consensus revenue of $19.76M. The company also reaffirmed its full year revenue guidance of $70M (consensus: $87.47M). CEO Frank Lazaran said, "As economic headwinds persist and companies across various industries temper their expectations for this coming year, we are confident in our ability to continue to deliver strong year-over-year comps in fiscal 2023 because Alkaline88’s products, production, and distribution are stronger than ever."
