AI-Driven Earnings Strength and New Fab Plan Could Be A Game Changer For Vicor (VICR)

  • In the past quarter, Vicor Corporation reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of US$143.35 million and net income of US$49.77 million, with both basic and diluted earnings per share from continuing operations rising year-on-year and first-half 2026 results also showing higher revenue and earnings versus the prior year.
  • Beyond the headline figures, Vicor’s results were supported by strong demand for advanced power products tied to AI infrastructure, growing licensing income, and management’s decision to pursue a second chip fabrication facility to support its second-generation Vertical Power Delivery technology.
  • We’ll now examine how this stronger earnings performance and planned second fabrication facility expansion influence Vicor’s existing investment narrative.
