Several Insiders Invested In Bonava Flagging Positive News

Generally, when a single insider buys stock, it is usually not a big deal. However, when several insiders are buying, like in the case of Bonava AB (publ) (STO:BONAV B), it sends a favourable message to the company's shareholders.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Bonava

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when President & CEO Peter Wallin bought kr883k worth of shares at a price of kr11.77 per share. That means that even when the share price was higher than kr10.40 (the recent price), an insider wanted to purchase shares. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. We always take careful note of the price insiders pay when purchasing shares. It is generally more encouraging if they paid above the current price, as it suggests they saw value, even at higher levels.

In the last twelve months insiders purchased 150.52k shares for kr1.7m. On the other hand they divested 9.68k shares, for kr136k. In total, Bonava insiders bought more than they sold over the last year. You can see a visual depiction of insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last 12 months, below. Does Bonava Boast High Insider Ownership?
