It operates through Astor Industry and Astor Tech segments. The Astor Industry segment manufactures composite and metal components for the defense industry and civilian markets, including die casting, composite and carbon fiber, as well as metalworking through etching and laser cutting; and components for defense material, maritime products, ammunition, transport equipment, and special equipment.
