Transgex S.A. engages in the prospecting, exploration, and exploitation of geothermal waters in the Transylvania and Western Field of Romania. The company drills wells for geothermal waters; drinking and industrial water; and solid mineral substances, including bauxite, carbon, ornamental, construction rocks, etc. It holds 14 exploitation concession licenses of geothermal waters in the Oradea, Sacueni, Marghita, Bors, Beius, Livada, Alesd, Sânnicolau de Munte, Balc, Chislaz, Cighid, Madras, and Tasnad, Acâs - Beltiug Satu Mare perimeters; and 6 exploration licenses with experimental exploitation for geothermal waters in the Beius-Delani, Salonta, Ciumeghiu, Diosig, Sântion, and Sacaseni perimeters. Transgex S.A. was founded in 1959 and is based in Oradea, Romania.
