Here's Why I Think CLASSYS (KOSDAQ:214150) Might Deserve Your Attention Today
It's only natural that many investors, especially those who are new to the game, prefer to buy shares in 'sexy' stocks with a good story, even if those businesses lose money. Unfortunately, high risk investments often have little probability of ever paying off, and many investors pay a price to learn their lesson.
If, on the other hand, you like companies that have revenue, and even earn profits, then you may well be interested in CLASSYS (KOSDAQ:214150). While profit is not necessarily a social good, it's easy to admire a business that can consistently produce it. Conversely, a loss-making company is yet to prove itself with profit, and eventually the sweet milk of external capital may run sour.

How Fast Is CLASSYS Growing Its Earnings Per Share?
In the last three years CLASSYS's earnings per share took off like a rocket; fast, and from a low base. So the actual rate of growth doesn't tell us much. As a result, I'll zoom in on growth over the last year, instead. CLASSYS boosted its trailing twelve month EPS from ₩473 to ₩547, in the last year. That's a 16% gain; respectable growth in the broader scheme of things.
One way to double-check a company's growth is to look at how its revenue, and earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) margins are changing. The good news is that CLASSYS is growing revenues, and EBIT margins improved by 9.1 percentage points to 57%, over the last year. Ticking those two boxes is a good sign of growth, in my book.

Are CLASSYS Insiders Aligned With All Shareholders?
Personally, I like to see high insider ownership of a company, since it suggests that it will be managed in the interests of shareholders. So we're pleased to report that CLASSYS insiders own a meaningful share of the business. Indeed, with a collective holding of 85%, company insiders are in control and have plenty of capital behind the venture. This makes me think they will be incentivised to plan for the long term - something I like to see. At the current share price, that insider holding is worth a whopping ₩848b. That means they have plenty of their own capital riding on the performance of the business!
Should You Add CLASSYS To Your Watchlist?
One important encouraging feature of CLASSYS is that it is growing profits. If that's not enough on its own, there is also the rather notable levels of insider ownership. That combination appeals to me, for one. So yes, I do think the stock is worth keeping an eye on. If you think CLASSYS might suit your style as an investor, you could go straight to its annual report, or you could first check our discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation for the company.
Although CLASSYS certainly looks good to me, I would like it more if insiders were buying up shares. If you like to see insider buying, too, then this free list of growing companies that insiders are buying, could be exactly what you're looking for.
