How Healthy Is Sunteck Realty's Balance Sheet?
We can see from the most recent balance sheet that Sunteck Realty had liabilities of ₹45.7b falling due within a year, and liabilities of ₹1.97b due beyond that. Offsetting this, it had ₹936.8m in cash and ₹2.75b in receivables that were due within 12 months. So its liabilities outweigh the sum of its cash and (near-term) receivables by ₹44.0b.
This is a mountain of leverage relative to its market capitalization of ₹65.5b. This suggests shareholders would be heavily diluted if the company needed to shore up its balance sheet in a hurry.
