It's only natural to consider a company's balance sheet when you examine how risky it is, since debt is often involved when a business collapses. When Is Debt Dangerous?

The image below, which you can click on for greater detail, shows that Ajmera Realty & Infra India had debt of ₹8.26b at the end of March 2023, a reduction from ₹8.68b over a year. However, it also had ₹509.9m in cash, and so its net debt is ₹7.75b.
How Strong Is Ajmera Realty & Infra India's Balance Sheet?
According to the last reported balance sheet, Ajmera Realty & Infra India had liabilities of ₹1.10b due within 12 months, and liabilities of ₹9.18b due beyond 12 months. Offsetting this, it had ₹509.9m in cash and ₹1.60b in receivables that were due within 12 months. So its liabilities outweigh the sum of its cash and (near-term) receivables by ₹8.18b.
