Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that Kunjika Kaushal, who is a company insider, recently bought ₹1.3m worth of stock, for ₹498 per share. Nevertheless, it only increased their shareholding by a minuscule percentage, and it wasn't a massive purchase by absolute value, either.

Ganesha Ecosphere Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when insider Sandeep Khandelwal bought ₹4.5m worth of shares at a price of ₹334 per share. Even though the purchase was made at a significantly lower price than the recent price (₹495), we still think insider buying is a positive. Because it occurred at a lower valuation, it doesn't tell us much about whether insiders might find today's price attractive.

It appears that Ganesha Ecosphere insiders own 35% of the company, worth about ₹3.8b. This level of insider ownership is good but just short of being particularly stand-out. It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.
