Shareholders Can't Ignore HK$70m Of Sales By Apollo Future Mobility Group Insiders
Despite the fact that Apollo Future Mobility Group Limited (HKG:860) stock rose 15% last week, insiders who sold HK$70m worth of stock in the previous 12 months are likely to be better off. Selling at an average price of HK$1.20, which is higher than the current price, may have been the wisest decision for these insiders as their investment would have been worth less now than when they sold.
While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.
The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Apollo Future Mobility Group
In the last twelve months, the biggest single sale by an insider was when the insider, Wa Fan Hoi, sold HK$40m worth of shares at a price of HK$1.20 per share. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. It's of some comfort that this sale was conducted at a price well above the current share price, which is HK$0.86. So it is hard to draw any strong conclusion from it. Wa Fan Hoi was the only individual insider to sell shares in the last twelve months.
Wa Fan Hoi divested 58.33m shares over the last 12 months at an average price of HK$1.20. You can see the insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year depicted in the chart below. By clicking on the graph below, you can see the precise details of each insider transaction!
