FCR Immobilien AG's (ETR:FC9) Shares Lagging The Market But So Is The Business

When close to half the companies in Germany have price-to-earnings ratios (or "P/E's") above 17x, you may consider FCR Immobilien AG (ETR:FC9) as an attractive investment with its 9.1x P/E ratio. Nonetheless, we'd need to dig a little deeper to determine if there is a rational basis for the reduced P/E.

FCR Immobilien has been struggling lately as its earnings have declined faster than most other companies. Does Growth Match The Low P/E?

There's an inherent assumption that a company should underperform the market for P/E ratios like FCR Immobilien's to be considered reasonable.
