The company also engages in the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons, as well as trunk transportation of gas. In addition, the company offers omega grains; offers rail freight services to exporters, stockists, and producers of the humid pampas covering the ports of Bahía Blanca and Rosario-San Martín through a network of 54 locomotives and 2,270 wagons; and invests in own securities, real estate development projects, and forestry. Further, it provides downstream and storage services, as well as distributes fuels; and produces lubricants. Sociedad Comercial del Plata S.A. was founded in 1927 and is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
