Regardless, revenue has managed to lift by a handy 26% in aggregate from three years ago, thanks to the earlier period of growth. So we can start by confirming that the company has generally done a good job of growing revenue over that time, even though it had some hiccups along the way.
Shifting to the future, estimates from the three analysts covering the company suggest revenue should grow by 10% over the next year. Meanwhile, the rest of the industry is forecast to only expand by 3.6%, which is noticeably less attractive.
With this in consideration, we find it intriguing that Quarterhill's P/S sits behind most of its industry peers. Apparently some shareholders are doubtful of the forecasts and have been accepting significantly lower selling prices.
