The company develops treatment for cardiovascular fibrosis and systolic blood pressure, as well as treatments for kidney, liver, and lung fibrosis. Its lead compound is VB0004, currently under phase Ib clinical human trial, which is aimed at treating the loss of functional tissue to fibrosis, scarring, and high blood pressure; VB4-A32 for the treatment of liver fibrosis; VB4-A79 for the treatment of lung fibrosis; and VB4-P5 for the treatment of renal fibrosis.
