It also engages in the exploration of nickel and copper projects located in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and South Australia, as well as Greenland. The company was formerly known as Independence Group NL and changed its name to IGO Limited in January 2020. IGO Limited was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Perth, Australia.
