In addition, the company offers satellite systems and sub-systems for communication networks, including space-based broadband internet, direct-to-device satellite communication, and internet of things connectivity across the full communication frequency spectrum; low earth orbit communication constellation, such as O3b mPower, Iridium Next, and OneWeb. It serves government agencies, prime contractors, and space companies. The company was formerly known as MDA Ltd. and changed its name to MDA Space Ltd. in May 2024.
