EF Hutton Announces Executive Appointments EF Hutton announced the hiring of James O’Neill and Jack Terranova as Co-heads of Healthcare. Mr. O’Neill will serve as Senior Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Equity Capital Markets and Mr. Terranova will serve as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Investment Banking. The addition of Mr. O’Neill and Mr. Terranova comes after EF Hutton recently expanded its footprint in healthcare equity research with the hiring of Michael G. King, Jr. as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Equity Research. James O’Neill brings over two decades of equity capital markets experience, most recently serving as the Head of Healthcare ECM at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Mr. O’Neill has also served in senior ECM roles at Roth Capital Markets, Rodman & Renshaw, and Cantor Fitzgerald. Jack Terranova has spent over 15 years focused on covering middle market and emerging growth healthcare companies, most recently serving as Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking at Oppenheimer & Co. EF Hutton announced Duncan Swanston has joined the firm as Managing Director, Head of Structured Products. Duncan will oversee the Structured Products team and will be responsible for growing the business and his team, with several Wall Street veterans already committed to joining EF Hutton. Duncan has over 15 years of experience helping public and private corporations and borrowers reach their long- and short-term objectives by securing long-term flexible capital. He has closed over one hundred transactions for more than $15 billion in structured financing alone by tailoring transactions to meet the specific needs of each of his clients allowing for the lowest effective cost while maintaining the highest degree of flexibility. His investment banking experience spans across several sectors including investment grade and sub investment grade fixed income, debt and equity private placements, both rated and non-rated securitizations, capital markets, and real estate equity to include office, retail, industrial, governmental, healthcare, manufacturing, multi-family, and special purpose properties. EF Hutton Appoints Ariel Imas as Senior Managing Director, Capital Markets EF Hutton announced Ariel Imas has been appointed Senior Managing Director, Capital Markets. Mr. Imas has over twenty years of corporate finance and investment banking experience focused on the lower-middle markets. Throughout his career, he has closed over 150 transactions providing full-service banking and has spearheaded capital raises exceeding $1 billion dollars from: institutional investors via PIPEs, secondaries, follow-ons, registered directs, CMPOs, IPOs and M&A. Mr. Imas has also provided strategic advisory services for dozens of partner companies. His strength lies in the relationships he forges with C-Level executives and institutional investors, enabling Mr. Imas to build shareholder value for every deal he has participated in. Additionally, he has also paved the way for several entrepreneurial ventures as a co-founder of healthcare, technology, and financial services companies.
