Mynd.Ai Unveils Privacy-First Ai Tools to Improve Engagement in Classrooms and Workplaces

The new tools are designed to save time, make it easier to deliver and augment content, simplify setup and maintenance, give better visibility into class and team engagement, and help users make faster, more informed decisions that support stronger learning and collaboration outcomes. Promethean's AI tools are built to integrate smoothly into established routines and perform consistently across supported environments. Designed to work within platforms including Explain Everything ('EE') and Promethean ActivSuite, the technology helps customers capture the benefits of AI without disrupting lesson delivery, meeting flow, or existing technology investments. Beginning in the Fourth Quarter, schools and districts will be able to opt in to new AI-powered tools as they become available, giving customers control over adoption timing and implementation. Engage Meter: Integrated into Promethean ActivSuite on macOS and Windows operating systems as an optional tool, with additional platforms planned, Engage Meter delivers immediate feedback on class or team engagement. It gives educators and leaders practical insight to help maintain focus, adapt in the moment, and support more productive learning and work environments. To help preserve privacy, all personal data collected by the Engage Meter tool is processed locally on the customer-owned device without the transmission of any personal data to Promethean or any third party. The Promethean Companion for ActivSuite and for EE (on iOS): This new AI companion helps educators with setup, preparation, and lesson delivery. By providing timely, contextual support within familiar workflows, the Promethean Companion is designed to reduce administrative friction and give teachers more time to focus on instruction, student engagement, and classroom management.
