The company offers engine and transmission oil pumps, electric auxiliary pumps, vacuum pumps, e-pumps for the start-stop function, oil/vacuum pumps with or without balancer shafts, variable water pumps, variable oil pumps, map-controlled oil pumps, electric oil pumps, and electric water pumps for passenger vehicles; and engine oil pumps, transmission oil pumps, fuel pumps, electric transmission oil pumps as auxiliaries for hybrid powertrains and powerpack pumps, lubricant pumps for cooling in hybrid driving modes, internal gear pumps, fixed displacement pumps, charging pumps, and standard lubrication oil pumps for trucks and off-highway vehicles, as well as lightweight pumps for the aviation industry. It also provides powder metallurgy products, including pump gear wheels, components for camshaft phasers, chain wheels and rotors, parts for engines and transmission oil pumps, high-density gear wheels, sintered aluminum parts, straight and helical gear wheels, and molded sintered parts for the automobile industry. In addition, the company offers lightweight composite brake discs, internally ventilated brake discs, monobloc brake discs, brake drums, processed brake discs, and unprocessed brake discs. It serves automotive, commercial vehicle, and agricultural and construction machinery manufacturers, as well as other automotive suppliers. The company was formerly known as Schwäbische Hüttenwerke Beteiligungs Gmbh and changed its name to SHW AG in June 2011. SHW AG was founded in 1365 and is headquartered in Aalen, Germany. SHW AG operates as a subsidiary of Pankl AG.
