Astronics: Strong Q2, Expanding Margins, And Record Backlog Make It A Buy

Summary Astronics is a buy, supported by strong Q2 results, record bookings, and expanding margins in specialized aerospace niches. ATRO delivered 27% YoY revenue growth, record net income, and raised full-year guidance to $1.02–$1.04 billion, with margins rising sharply. A record backlog of $780.6 million, with 82% expected to convert to revenue within 12 months, underpins near-term growth and profit expansion. Valuation and debt are risks, but margin expansion and dominant market positions in niche aerospace products provide a robust investment case. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha
