KB Home's updated analyst price target rises from about $71.64 to roughly $75.21, reflecting analysts' focus on the company's slightly higher projected profit margin, a modestly richer future P/E of about 13.25x, and recent research highlighting margin recovery, built to order mix, and a rebuilding California pipeline. KB Home: BTO Is Working, But Demand Is Still A Problem (Rating Upgrade)

Summary KB Home is upgraded to Hold as built-to-order (BTO) reduces unsold inventory, shortens build times, and supports margin recovery. BTO now represents 73% of orders, with finished unsold homes dropping to 11% of production and build times at a decade low. Despite operational improvements, weak buyer conversion, negative cash flow, and elevated leverage, limit upside and keep a buy rating unjustified for KBH stock. Current valuation (~14x NTM P/E) already prices in a meaningful earnings recovery, with FY2027 EPS bridge supporting little further upside. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha
