Fair Isaac: Strong Earnings Growth Makes The Valuation Attractive Again

Summary Fair Isaac Corporation delivered outstanding Q2 2026 results, with revenue up 39% and Scores revenue surging 60%, driven by mortgage market strength. FICO’s core Scores business boasts a 91% operating margin and strong pricing power, while the FICO Platform adds a high-growth, AI-driven software layer. Despite regulatory risks and competition from VantageScore, FICO’s moat, buybacks, and forward EPS growth justify a Strong Buy rating at current valuation. At $1,100 per share, FICO trades at 25x FY2026 EPS, but only 20x 2027 and 17x 2028 if earnings targets are met, making the stock attractive. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

FICO: Capital Returns And Margin Strength Will Support Premium Multiples

Fair Isaac's updated analyst price target has been revised lower to about $2,172 from $2,500. This reflects a mix of reduced revenue growth assumptions, a slightly higher discount rate, and a lower future P/E multiple, partly offset by analyst expectations for higher profit margins and a series of recent Street price target changes across major firms.
