CNC: Medicaid Margin Recovery Optimism Will Eventually Prove Overstated Despite Recent Upgrades

Centene's fair value estimate has been updated from $40.00 to about $43.26, as analysts lift price targets across the sector, citing constructive Q2 set ups, improving Medicare Advantage and exchange trends, and a more stable policy backdrop that supports moderate adjustments to revenue growth, profit margin assumptions, and future P/E expectations. Analyst Commentary Recent research on Centene points to a broadly constructive tone, with many firms lifting price targets and highlighting improving trends in Medicare Advantage and exchange businesses.
