Philippe Etienne will be appointed Chairman of Cleanaway from that date. Philippe Etienne joined the Cleanaway Board in May 2014, has served as Chairman of the Sustainability Committee since 2015 and was appointed Deputy Chairman in June 2023. Following on from the appointment of Mr. Etienne as Chairman, Jackie McArthur has been appointed as Chair of the Sustainability Committee. Jackie McArthur joined the Cleanaway Board in September 2022. She also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Inghams Group Limited, where she chairs the Risk and Sustainability Committee and Qube Limited, where she chairs the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Following on from company's announcement on 6 June regarding the retirement of Ray Smith, Michael Kelly has succeeded Mr. Smith as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Clive Stiff has also been appointed as a member the Audit and Risk Committee and the Sustainability Committee. In light of these changes and to support continuity in the leadership of Cleanaway, Terry Sinclair will seek re-election at the 2023 Cleanaway AGM. It is Mr. Sinclair's intention to retire as a Non-Executive Director of Cleanaway around the end of fiscal year 2024.
