Ikegps Launches Ai-Powered Assistant to Increase Productivity for Analyzing Utility Pole Data ikeGPS announced the launch of PolePilot™?, a new automated assistant for utility pole data analysis. Powered by IKE's advanced AI/ML algorithms and image recognition capabilities, PolePilot is designed to accelerate common tasks involving overhead asset data. Now available within IKE Office Pro, IKE's leading pole data management solution, PolePilot automatically detects and annotates equipment and heights of attachment on utility poles, including power and communications lines, transformers and streetlights. By applying computer vision models designed with IKE's expertise in pole imagery, PolePilot materially reduces the time and costs required to annotate pole equipment, human error, data inconsistencies and onboarding time for new analysts. This development expands on the strength of IKE's intelligent automation capabilities, which include automated applications for double wood detection and joint-use ticket management. Future applications of PolePilot's process automation capabilities are planned across the IKE overhead asset management suite. IKE conducted a beta program with users to test PolePilot's accuracy, efficiency and usability in real-life utility industry use cases. Program participants achieved faster pole annotation and improved consistency during the beta testing period. They identified additional benefits, including accelerated training and QC processes and optimized display and reporting of data. New Risk • Sep 06
