Genedrive plc Announces Board Appointments, Effective September 1, 2026 Genedrive PLC announced that Mr. Mark Winkler and Mr. Mike Fairbourn had agreed to join the Board as independent Non-Executive Directors with effect from September 1, 2026. Mark Winkler, aged 49, brings extensive financial, strategic and corporate finance experience, advising growth companies, multinational businesses and investors on strategy, finance, governance and growth capital. He is the founder and CEO of Red Earth Advisors and previously held senior roles at Stonehage Fleming and Deloitte where he qualified as an ACA. Mark Winkler's current relevant directorships/partnerships include Concise Media Consulting Limited, Liquidity Media Midco Limited, Liquidity Media Limited, Red Earth Advisors Limited, and 4 Sumatra Road Limited. It is proposed that Mark Winkler will chair the Company's Audit and Remuneration Committees. Mike Fairbourn, aged 67, brings more than three decades of commercial and leadership experience across the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors. He spent almost 20 years at global medical technology company Becton Dickinson, including as Vice President and General Manager for the UK and Ireland, and served for ten years on the Board of the Association of British HealthTech Industries, the UK's leading industry association for health technology, including products such as single use devices, diagnostics and digitally enhanced technologies. Mike Fairbourn's current relevant directorships/partnerships include Deko MedTech Oy, Association of British Healthtech Industries Limited, Fairbourn Consulting Limited, Becton Dickinson Holdings Designated Activity Company, and Becton, Dickinson U.K. Limited. Genedrive Implements Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit At Erasmus MC University Medical Center In The Netherlands Genedrive plc announced that the Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit, its rapid pharmacogenetic test to prevent antibiotic-induced hearing loss (AIHL) in newborns, has been implemented at Erasmus MC University Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, effective from 3 August 2026. Erasmus MC is one of Europe's university medical centres and internationally recognised for its expertise in pharmacogenetics. Its neonatal intensive care unit treats approximately 750 newborn babies each year. Implementation of the Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit is being funded by Erasmus MC's Pharmacogenetics International Expert Center. The Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit is already in routine clinical use across more than 20 neonatal intensive care units in the UK and internationally, with clinical implementation and commercial activities progressing across Europe and the Middle East. Genedrive plc Appoints Graham Cole CBE as Chair and an Independent Non-Executive Director with Effect from 14 July 2026 genedrive plc announced that Mr. Graham Cole CBE has joined the Board as Chair and an independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Graham brings more than four decades of UK and international leadership, board and governance experience across commercial businesses in the advanced engineering, manufacturing and technology sectors. He previously served as Chairman of Westland Helicopters responsible for annual revenues worldwide of around £4 billion and held a number of senior executive positions within the AgustaWestland Group, including Managing Director with responsibility for global operations. He also served on the Board of parent company Finmeccanica UK and has extensive experience of working with investors, UK Government, industry and commercial stakeholders. In addition to his executive career, Graham has held several non-executive and advisory positions. He has also served on several UK Government ministerial committees, was appointed a CBE in 2004 for services to the aerospace industry, and holds Freedom to the City of London, and in 2008 he was awarded the Commendatore dell' Ordine della Stella della Solidarietà Italiana by the President of Italy for his work on Anglo Italian business. The Board process to appoint two further independent Non-Executive Directors is ongoing and further announcements will be made in due course. Genedrive Announces Adoption of Genedrive Mt-Rnr1 Id Kit for Rapid Pharmacogenetic Testing in Nhs Neonatal Intensive Care Units Genedrive plc noted comments made on Tuesday 7th July 2026 by the Minister for Health Innovation and Safety, Preet Kaur Gill MP during evidence to the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee's inquiry into innovation in the NHS. The Minister highlighted rapid pharmacogenetic testing for identifying newborn babies at risk of antibiotic-induced hearing loss as a practical example of personalised medicine. The test referenced by the Minister is the Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit, developed in collaboration with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, with research supported by the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre and The University of Manchester. The CE-IVD approved test is currently being deployed across NHS neonatal intensive care units through the PALOH-UK programme. It has now transitioned to routine clinical use at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, with discussions ongoing to support the transition at further participating hospitals. The Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit helps prevent antibiotic-induced hearing loss (AIHL) in newborns, enabling treatment decisions within actionable timeframes at the point of care. The Company has two CE-IVD approved and NICE-recommended tests in NHS clinical use. The Genedrive CYP2C19 ID Kit identifies stroke patients who will not respond to the current standard of care, Clopidogrel, used to reduce risk of secondary stroke.
