IREN Limited (NasdaqGS:IREN) acquired Mirantis, Inc. for approximately $630 million IREN Limited (NasdaqGS:IREN) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Mirantis, Inc. for approximately $630 million on May 4, 2026. The consideration consists of common equity of IREN Limited having a value of $625 million to be issued for common equity of Mirantis, Inc. Upon completion, Mirantis is expected to operate as a standalone subsidiary, continuing to serve its existing customer base while supporting IREN’s AI Cloud deployments. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including required regulatory approvals.

IREN Limited Announces Appointment of Eric Hammersley as Chief Information Security Officer IREN Limited announced the appointment of Eric Hammersley as Chief Information Security Officer. The appointment followed the recent additions of Kambiz Aghili as Chief Product Officer and Michael Nudelman as Chief Development Officer. As Chief Information Security Officer, Mr. Hammersley was to lead IREN’s security program across all three layers of its platform: data centers, compute and software. Mr. Hammersley brought more than two decades of experience securing cloud platforms and critical infrastructure. He joined from Nutanix, where he served as Vice President, Engineering and Chief Product Security Officer, responsible for security governance, compliance and operational assurance across the company’s software and SaaS products. His earlier roles included leading software product security architecture for NVIDIA’s high-performance computing environments, and senior engineering positions across the U.S. federal government and defense sector, including as Chief Engineer supporting the Joint Chiefs of Staff (J6). IREN Limited Announces Executive Appointments IREN Limited announced the appointment of Kambiz Aghili as Chief Product Officer and Michael Nudelman as Chief Development Officer. These San Francisco-based appointments bring additional depth to IREN’s development and product teams as the Company continues to expand its AI Cloud offering across new markets and services. As Chief Product Officer, Mr. Aghili will lead IREN’s product strategy and roadmap for its AI Cloud platform, including its bare metal GPU offering, managed services and broader product capabilities. He joins from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, where he served as Vice President of Products, spearheading strategy and development of its native multi-cloud platform across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. As Chief Development Officer, Mr. Nudelman will lead IREN’s global data center development strategy and the expansion of its 5GW secured grid-connected power portfolio across existing and new markets, including advancing site planning, permitting and economic development incentives. He brings more than two decades of experience in data center development, energy, finance and management, having held senior roles at Google, CyrusOne and Beale Infrastructure.
