お知らせ • Jun 29Charter Hall Group (ASX:CHC) agreed to acquire 1 Vegemite Way, Port Melbourne site of Bega Group from Bega Cheese Limited (ASX:BGA) for approximately AUD 120 million.Charter Hall Group (ASX:CHC) agreed to acquire 1 Vegemite Way, Port Melbourne site of Bega Group from Bega Cheese Limited (ASX:BGA) for approximately AUD 120 million on June 27,2023. The Bega Group intends to continue the production of iconic brands including Vegemite and Bega Peanut Butter at the site. The funds from the sale will reduce debt and further support the Bega Group’s strategy and transition to a company focused on market leading brands. Gavin Bishop and Sean Thomson of Colliers facilitated the sale.

お知らせ • Jan 17Charter Hall Group Appoints Stephen Conry AM as Independent Non-Executive DirectorCharter Hall Group announced the appointment of Mr. Stephen Conry AM as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Charter Hall Group. Mr. Conry's appointment takes effect from 16 January 2023. Until 2022, Mr. Conry was the CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle Australia, Australia's largest commercial property services firm, serving in that role for 13 years. Mr. Conry commenced his career with JLL as a valuer and, prior to being appointed CEO, held various state and national business leadership roles as well as serving as an International Director for 22 years. Outside of his executive career, Mr. Conry has held roles with numerous business and community boards, including the Property Council of Australia where he was National President from 2019 to 2021. Mr. Conry is currently Chairman of private investment company Langdon Capital Pty Ltd, a member of the Commonwealth Remuneration Tribunal, a Board member of Redkite, a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr. Conry was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2019 Queens Birthday Honours list for his service to the Australian Commercial Property Sector and the Community.
