Hanil Cement Co., Ltd. entered into merger agreement to acquire remaining 22.22% stake in Hanil Hyundai Cement Co., Ltd on July 18, 2025. The consideration consists of issue of 1.002821 shares of Hanil Cement Co., Ltd. for every 1 share of Hanil Hyundai Cement Co., Ltd. After the completion of the merger, the combined company expects external expansion and earnings growth through the manifestation of the expected effects of the merger. In addition, it is expected to contribute to mutual synergy effects by making quick decisions through integrated management of management activities, improving management efficiency, achieving economies of scale such as purchasing and finance, complementing each other in terms of profitability, growth, and stability, and concentrating resources in future eco-friendly investments.
