Moyer also served as CEO of financial technology companies EDGAR Online, a provider of financial data and analytics solutions, and Cassiopae, a French software company in the commercial banking market. He also served in various roles at Amazon and Microsoft, where he spent 15 years managing global customer teams. Earlier in his career, Moyer co-founded IEP+ Orion System Group, where he built one of the first digital Individualized Education Programs designed to help K-12 schools manage special education curriculums, testing scores and regulatory reporting. He started his career as a software engineer for nuclear submarines at GE Aerospace after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in computer science. お知らせ • Apr 08Mcgraw Hill Introduces New Ai Capabilities in Its Connect Digital Course Solution for Higher EducationMcGraw Hill, Inc. announced new artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities within McGraw Hill Connect®, its digital learning and course management solution for higher education. Enhancements within Connect include Learning Coach, a conversational AI tutor launching in select courses over the coming months, as well as a new Translation Tool and resources to help students build AI literacy. Learning Coach is a new conversational AI tutor rooted in learning science that will be available in select courses within Connect over the coming months, providing instructors with a solution to extend scalable, in-the-moment support for students as they work through challenging concepts. Developed in collaboration with Kyron Learning, Learning Coach uses video and text to offer real-time explanations, guided questioning and step-by-step support for complex concepts. This educator-initiated AI experience is designed to help students think critically and deepen understanding, adapting in real-time based on each student’s needs to build learning that lasts. Instructors will be able to assign Learning Coach for the most challenging topics in the course, ensuring students get the right help at the right time. A new Translation Tool, available for most Connect eBook titles this spring, allows students to select text and view both the original and translated content side-by-side. With support for 38 languages at launch, this feature enables multilingual learners to better navigate course materials while ensuring their reading remains aligned with instructor assignments. Additionally, AI Reader continues to enhance Connect’s AI-powered reading support. AI Reader encourages active reading by allowing students to highlight passages for simplified explanations and comprehension checks, helping learners engage more deeply with content and learn at their own pace. Since it launched in fall 2024, students have interacted with AI Reader more than 45 million times. Instructors can now assign AI literacy learning modules within the Connect digital course solution to help students learn how to apply GenAI thoughtfully and effectively. The modules focus on practical use cases and real-world applications covering topics such as prompt refinement, searching for jobs in the age of AI, and using AI ethically and responsibly. Students can further develop and showcase these skills through a SIMskills Badge in Foundational GenAI, available now through Connect. The self-paced course culminates in a digital credential that students can share on LinkedIn, resumes and other professional platforms. SIMskills courses and credentials are free for all college faculty with Connect access, and students can purchase access directly through Connect.

Announces Management ChangesMcGraw Hill, Inc. announced that Philip Moyer will become the Company’s President and join the Board of Directors effective February 9, 2026. Moyer, age 60, succeeds Simon Allen, who will retire as President after leading the Company since October 2019. Allen will continue as Chair of the Company’s Board of Directors and will work closely with Moyer and the McGraw Hill executive team to ensure a smooth transition and help steer the Company’s long-term growth strategies. Moyer brings extensive experience in technology and AI-driven transformation to McGraw Hill. He most recently served as CEO of Vimeo, where he launched an AI-first video strategy that delivered double-digit improvements in revenue and profitability. Previously, he spent five years at Alphabet, helping launch Google’s Generative AI strategy. He served as Global VP of Applied AI Engineering and Business Development for Google Cloud, after joining the division in July 2019 as VP of Strategic Industries. Moyer also served as CEO of financial technology companies EDGAR Online, a provider of financial data and analytics solutions, and Cassiopae, a French software company in the commercial banking market. He also served in various roles at Amazon and Microsoft, where he spent 15 years managing global customer teams. Earlier in his career, Moyer co-founded IEP+ Orion System Group, where he built one of the first digital Individualized Education Programs designed to help K-12 schools manage special education curriculums, testing scores and regulatory reporting. He started his career as a software engineer for nuclear submarines at GE Aerospace after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in computer science. During Allen’s tenure at McGraw Hill, the Company experienced significant growth in the markets it serves. Under his leadership, the business expanded its market share and achieved a higher quality revenue profile, with its current revenue being nearly two-thirds digital and nearly 60% re-occurring. Before being named President and CEO of McGraw Hill, Allen served as President of the Company’s Higher Education and International business units after rejoining McGraw Hill in March 2018. Allen was previously the CEO of Macmillan Education; SVP, International at The McGraw-Hill Companies; and President, Higher Education at both Pearson Education EMEA and Prentice Hall Europe. Earlier in his career, he held sales leadership roles with the Times Mirror Group in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East.
