BlackBerry Secures Renewed NIAP Certification for SecuSUITE in Government Communications BlackBerry said its SecuSUITE Server 6.0 and Client 6.0 have been relisted as certified products under the International Common Criteria, meeting the latest NIAP Protection Profiles for sovereign-grade secure communications.
SecuSUITE is used by NATO, all G7 governments and most G20 members to secure voice, messaging, file sharing and crisis coordination, which keeps BlackBerry plugged into long-cycle government, defense and critical infrastructure contracts.

Arctic Wolf Networks, Inc. completed the acquisition of Cylance assets from BlackBerry Limited. Arctic Wolf Networks, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cylance assets from BlackBerry Limited on December 15, 2024. In addition, the Equity and Asset Purchase Agreement provides that, on the closing date of the transaction, the Company and Arctic Wolf will enter into (i) a non-exclusive patent license agreement, (ii) a partner agreement pursuant to which the Company will agree to resell certain products and services of Arctic Wolf, and (iii) a strategic customer support agreement, pursuant to which Arctic Wolf will agree to provide certain customer support services to the Company. BlackBerry Limited Announces Chief Financial Officer Changes BlackBerry Limited announced Tim Foote has been appointed as the company's Chief Financial Officer, effective 30 July 2024. Foote will report to BlackBerry CEO, John J. Giamatteo. Foote joined the company following BlackBerry's acquisition of Good Technology in 2015 and brings more than 20 years of experience across a number of senior finance leadership positions.
