·18 days agoA landmark settlement is meant to punish Meta (META). If the 1998 tobacco deal is any guide, it might protect it.

18 billion over 10 years is a rounding error for Meta. Split across dozens of states, it's a rounding error for them too, roughly 40 million a year each. Someone should DCF it and find out what it's actually worth to either side. Half joking.
