AmpliTech Group, Inc. Announces 5G 64T64R MIMO Cellular Radio Platform Supports Evolution of AI-Enabled Wireless Infrastructure AmpliTech Group, Inc. announced that its O-RAN CAT B 64T64R Massive MIMO radio unit served as the central hardware platform in Northeastern University's demonstration of the world's first open-source prototype of a Massive MIMO AI-RAN system, conducted by the Institute for Intelligent Networked Systems (INSI) Open6G OTIC in combining an Amplitech MIMO O-RAN Category B radio unit, NVIDIA AI Aerial software for layer 1 and layer 2 RAN. The demonstration highlights how future wireless networks may become faster, smarter, and more responsive by using artificial intelligence directly inside the network infrastructure itself. Technologies like AI-RAN are designed to help wireless systems automatically adapt to changing demand, improve coverage in crowded areas, reduce congestion, and support the growing need for high-speed connectivity across homes, businesses, campuses, transportation systems, and smart cities. AmpliTech's 64T64R radio is the only radio of its configuration to have been certified by the Open6G OTIC, the O-RAN Alliance-qualified testing center at Northeastern University and is the only radio of its kind designed and commercialized by an American company. AmpliTech’s radio platform is being used not only in advanced 5G environments, but also in the development of next-generation wireless systems designed to support increasing global demand for mobile data, streaming, cloud applications, connected devices, and AI-powered services. Amplitech Group Inc Receives Fcc and Canadian Certifications for Indoor 5G Infrastructure Supporting Next-Generation Wireless Coverage AmpliTech Group, Inc. announced it has received full Federal Communications Commission and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada certifications for its complete 5G Native Distributed Antenna System Solution. The approvals cover AmpliTech's entire end-to-end hardware stack including the 5G Pico Radio, AC and DC Mother Hubs, and high-density Cascading Hubs. With both U.S. and Canadian certifications secured, AmpliTech is cleared for immediate commercial sale, shipment, and network integration across the North American market. Receiving both FCC and ISED certifications means AmpliTech’s complete indoor 5G solution is now fully approved for deployment across the United States and Canada. This allows wireless carriers, government organizations, and enterprise customers to move forward with installations more quickly and confidently, knowing the system meets required safety and performance standards. Because the entire solution has been certified together, customers can also benefit from a more streamlined deployment process, improved compatibility across installations, and faster network expansion without the need for major hardware modifications. The Fixed Wireless Access market continues to expand as operators seek cost-effective alternatives to physical fiber deployment. AmpliTech's Native DAS solution addresses key technical constraints in traditional FWA architectures. The certified Pico Radio is engineered to maximize data speeds and coverage range while operating with low power consumption. Paired with the AC/DC Mother Hubs and Cascading Hubs, operators can extend high-capacity 5G signals across thousands of feet, enabling FWA providers to deliver broadband connectivity to rural and suburban underserved areas with minimal hardware infrastructure. Private 5G deployments in environments such as smart factories, logistics facilities, military installations, and healthcare campuses demand low latency, security, and reliable indoor/outdoor coverage. AmpliTech's Native DAS addresses these requirements through an integrated architecture in which the Pico Radio and distribution Hubs are designed to operate as a unified system. Unlike legacy approaches that integrate hardware from multiple vendors, the Native DAS delivers Open RAN interoperability within a single-vendor stack, reducing deployment complexity and setup time for enterprise integrators. The availability of both AC and DC Mother Hub variants extends deployment compatibility across standard commercial building power environments and heavy-industrial or defense power configurations. This dual-country certification gives engineering, sales, and integration partners the ability to deploy full-scale networks immediately. AmpliTech has already received orders for this suite of products from a North American MNO end customer, with shipments slated to begin later this year. AMPG

AmpliTech Group Expands 5G Reach With Certifications and Strong Q1 Results Northeastern University unveiled an open-source massive MIMO AI-RAN prototype that uses AmpliTech’s 64T64R O-RAN radio unit, integrating it with NVIDIA GPU processing and OpenAirInterface software into a fully standards-compliant platform.
AmpliTech secured full FCC and ISED certifications for its complete 5G Native DAS portfolio, allowing immediate commercial sales, shipments and indoor 5G integrations across North America, with initial orders already in hand from a regional mobile network operator.
For Q1 2026, AmpliTech reported revenue growth of 48.6% year over year and gross profit growth of 116%. This performance was supported by a backlog above US$20m, US$18.4m in cash, no debt and improved working capital, along with a more than threefold increase in manufacturing and engineering revenue tied to 5G, MMIC, satellite and defense RF programs.
Taken together, these updates indicate that AmpliTech is expanding its participation in real-world 5G and RF deployments while also gaining visibility through academic and ecosystem partnerships in AI-RAN and Open RAN.
Investors may still want to consider execution risk around converting the order backlog and recently certified products into sustained revenue, as well as ongoing geopolitical and supply chain challenges highlighted by management.
