Healixa Inc. Completes Global Aquaduct Deposition Water Harvesting Technology Beta Development Program and Commences Pre-Commercialization Testing Program Healixa Inc. announced that it has completed the beta development of its proprietary Global AquaDuct, Deposition Water Harvesting technology, significantly advancing its global commercialization plans. Global AquaDuct, Healixa's unique atmospheric water harvesting technology, can produce potable water directly from the earth's atmosphere by leveraging multiple advancements including its novel thermal deposition technology. Healixa's DWH technology directly addresses challenges that have previously stifled adoption of atmospheric water generation solutions, specifically delivering substantially improved operational performance including energy efficiency, no relative humidity dependency, and substantial reliable yields. To date, Healixa has already received over $75,000,000 in order indications for Global AquaDuct. The next phase of the Global AquaDuct commercialization plan involves rigorous final internal production testing and the critically important water quality evaluation conducted by an independent, third-party laboratory. Upon receipt of satisfactory water quality results, the Company anticipates quickly beginning building additional beta units for in-the-field beta testing of Global AquaDuct with potential customers and partners in early fall. Healixa Inc. Appoints Former Pennsylvania Senator Richard Alloway II as Executive Vice President for Government Relations Healixa Inc. announced that it has appointed Richard Alloway II as Executive Vice President for Government Relations effective January 1, 2023. In this new role, Mr. Alloway will lead the Company’s public policy and government affairs activities, supporting its clean water and sustainable communities initiatives, and advance its Global AquaDuct™ Atmospheric Water Harvesting technology which is in late-stage commercial development. Mr. Alloway is a former Magisterial District Judge and Republican member of the Pennsylvania State Senate. He was first elected in 2008 as the State Senator for the 33rd District and served for three consecutive terms. During his tenure in the Pennsylvania Senate, Richard supported numerous pieces of legislation and promoted policies to improve water quality across the Commonwealth. He also served as the Pennsylvania representative on the Chesapeake Bay Commission, working with state and federal officials from Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and the United States Environmental Protection Agency to address pollution issues in the bay. As an avid outdoorsman, Mr. Alloway has always been interested in clean water. Since leaving the Senate in 2019, Mr. Alloway has been the principal at Alloway Law Office where he worked advising clients on government related issues. Healixa Inc. Appoints Christopher C. Miller to Advisory Board Healixa Inc. announced the continued expansion of its advisory board with the appointment of Christopher C. Miller, the former Acting Secretary of Defense of the United States. Miller served as the Acting Secretary of Defense, from November 9, 2020, until January 20, 2021. Previously, Miller performed the duties of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (ASD) for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict. He also previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Special Operations and Combating Terrorism (SOCT). Miller was responsible for overseeing the employment of special operations forces in counterterrorism, Military Information Support Operations (MISO), Information Operations, unconventional warfare, irregular warfare, direct action, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, counter proliferation, sensitive special operations, and personnel recovery/hostage issues as specified by the Secretary of Defense. From March 2018 through December 2019, Miller served as the Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism and Transnational Threats at the National Security Council (NSC). In this position, Miller was responsible for strategic level policy making and implementation, and support to senior NSC and White House leadership. Miller was raised in Iowa City, Iowa and is a retired U.S. Army officer. He was commissioned as an Infantry officer in 1987 through R.O.T.C. with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the George Washington University. Miller began his military career as an enlisted Infantryman in the Army Reserve in 1983 and also served in the District of Columbia National Guard as a Military Policeman. In 1993, he transferred to Special Forces and served in numerous command and staff positions within the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). Throughout his career, he served within other special operations organizations, culminating with command of the 2nd Battalion, 5th SFG(A). Miller participated in the initial combat operations in Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003, in addition to numerous follow-on deployments to both theaters, and has extensive inter-agency and joint special operations experience. Upon retirement from the Army in 2014, Miller worked for over two years as a defense contractor providing clandestine Special Operations and Intelligence expertise directly to the Under Secretaries of Defense for Intelligence and Policy.
