Valles, Senior Vice President and Head of Regulatory Management of Manila Electric Company. Further, the company confirm receipt of a copy of the court's decision on Civil Case No. 1039 which dismissed the complaint for injunction of the Plaintiffs (Prime Energy Resources Development B.V., UC38 LLC, Prime Oil and Gas Inc., and PNOC Exploration Corp.), and rendered the Temporary Restraining Order issued by the court on August 2, 2024 without force and effect. Manila Electric Company Announces Clarification About Motions for Reconsideration Filed by the Energy Regulatory Commission and the National Association of Electricity Consumers for Reforms Inc Manila Electric Company announced that in a decision dated December 28, 2023, the CA's Thirteenth Division did not give merit to the motion filed by ERC and National Association of Electricity Consumers For Reforms Inc. (Nasecor) seeking the reversal of the said decision penned by Associate Justice Charlene Hernandez-Azura. The CA held that respondents ERC and Nasecor failed to present new arguments that would warrant the reversal of its decision.
