Even if it's not a huge purchase, we think it was good to see that Taylor Schreiber, the Co-Founder of Shattuck Labs, Inc. Although the purchase is not a big one, by either a percentage standpoint or absolute value, it can be seen as a good sign.

Shattuck Labs Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The Chief Financial Officer, Andrew Neill, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for US$250k worth of shares at a price of US$10.00 each. We generally don't like to see insider selling, but the lower the sale price, the more it concerns us. It's of some comfort that this sale was conducted at a price well above the current share price, which is US$3.70. So it may not shed much light on insider confidence at current levels. Andrew Neill was the only individual insider to sell shares in the last twelve months.

Over the last year, we can see that insiders have bought 22.82k shares worth US$83k. But insiders sold 25.00k shares worth US$250k. It appears that Shattuck Labs insiders own 13% of the company, worth about US$23m. We've certainly seen higher levels of insider ownership elsewhere, but these holdings are enough to suggest alignment between insiders and the other shareholders.
