He has over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry and has experience in virtually all aspects of the hospitality industry, including hotel ownership, finance, operations, development, asset management and project management. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Remington Hospitality Services. Mr. Bennett joined Remington Hotel Corporation in 1992 and served as its President since 1997 also served as its Chief Executive Officer. He served as an Executive Vice President, Director of Information Systems, General Manager and Operations Director at Remington Hotel Corporation. He is a frequent speaker and panelist for various hotel development and investment conferences including the NYU Lodging conference and the Americas Lodging Investment Summit conferences. He received the Top-Performing CEO Award from HVS for 2011. He is extensively involved in the hotel industry, serving on the Urban Land Institute’s Hotel Council, Radisson Franchise Advisory Board and the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Industry Real Estate Finance Advisory Council (IREFAC). He is a life member of the Cornell Hotel Society. Mr. Bennett obtained his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management in 1989 and his Bachelor of Science degree with distinction from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in 1988.
