Goldman Sachs Stock Split: Is One Likely To Happen?
Goldman Sachs has never split its shares since its IPO in 1999, and none of the company's key banking peers have split their shares in the last 17 years. A stock split is less likely to happen, if one takes into account the potential investor outflows associated with a smaller weighting for the company in the Dow. Investors should focus more on GS' business mix and valuations, rather than pinning hopes on a potential stock split to re-rate its shares.

Goldman Sachs: A Smart Option Play To Take Advantage Of Its Cheapness
GS is moderately undervalued because the market is underestimating Q3 and Q4 results. Its ability to attract talent, especially after the salary raises, is an established competitive advantage. Call options can help to profit from this modest undervaluation and could boost returns thanks to cheap leverage. The outlook on Goldman is positive with a fair price of $470 reachable in 2-4 months.
Goldman Sachs And Its Recent 60% Dividend Hike
I last wrote about Goldman Sachs in early June 2021. The thesis was that it was overvalued by about 35% based on its then-current fundamentals and by about 20%. Since my last writing, there was little change in its price but a few things have changed in the fundamentals. This article, therefore, provides an updated assessment of its valuation, and the conclusion is the margin of safety is much improved now and GS is about fairly valued based on its forward financials.
