Independent Chairman of Cantaloupe Picks Up 175% More Stock

Cantaloupe, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTLP) shareholders (or potential shareholders) will be happy to see that the Independent Chairman, Douglas Bergeron, recently bought a whopping US$2.1m worth of stock, at a price of US$7.40. That purchase boosted their holding by 175%, which makes us wonder if the move was inspired by quietly confident deeply-felt optimism.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Cantaloupe

Notably, that recent purchase by Douglas Bergeron is the biggest insider purchase of Cantaloupe shares that we've seen in the last year. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of US$7.83. Of course they may have changed their mind. But this suggests they are optimistic.
