Mr. Frankle Widjaja, also known as Djafar, serves as the Executive Chairman of Bund Center Investment Ltd and has been its Chief Executive Officer since 2009. Mr. Widjaja is primarily responsible for all aspects of the Group's Hotel, Office Tower and Golden Center, including the ongoing evaluation, investment and improvement of the aforesaid properties. He served as the President of Sinarmas Land Ltd. since December 2006. He has an extensive management and operational experience. He served as the Head of Property Development at PT Duta Pertiwi Tbk. Mr. Widjaja had been involved in the management and operations of the pulp and paper, financial services, food and agriculture and real estate businesses of the Sinar Mas Group since 1979. He serves as Vice President Commissioner of PT Duta Pertiwi Tbk. He served as Vice President of Asia Food & Properties Ltd., from 1997 to December 2007 and Golden Agri-Resources Ltd., from 1999 to December 2007. He has been a Deputy Chairman of the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce since 2007. From 1997 to June 2010, he was fully in-charge of the AFP Land property business of AFP. Mr. Widjaja had been a Non-Executive Director of Golden Agri-Resources Ltd from December 2006 until April 23, 2018 and served as its Executive Director from May 1999 to December 2006. He has been a Director of Bund Center Investment Ltd. since September 9, 2009. He has been a Director of both the Shanghai Overseas Friendship Association and the Shanghai Overseas Exchange Association since 1998. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Sinarmas Land Ltd. from June 30, 2010 to April 26, 2012. He served as an Executive Director of Sinarmas Land Ltd. from 1997 to June 30, 2010. He was awarded the Third Shanghai Charity Star Special Awards in 2008; the Top Ten Overseas Chinese Award in 2007; the Five Star Diamond Award in 2006; the Shanghai Magnolia Honorable Award in 2006; and the Shanghai Magnolia Memorial Award in 2004. Mr. Widjaja studied at the University of California, Berkeley, USA and Obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Science (Industrial Engineering & Operational Research) in 1978.
