Analysts Just Published A Bright New Outlook For BioArctic AB (publ)'s (STO:BIOA B)
Shareholders in BioArctic AB (publ) (STO:BIOA B) may be thrilled to learn that the analysts have just delivered a major upgrade to their near-term forecasts. Consensus estimates suggest investors could expect greatly increased statutory revenues and earnings per share, with the analysts modelling a real improvement in business performance. Investors have been pretty optimistic on BioArctic too, with the stock up 14% to kr228 over the past week. We'll be curious to see if these new estimates convince the market to lift the stock price higher still.
Following the upgrade, the most recent consensus for BioArctic from its six analysts is for revenues of kr1.3b in 2025 which, if met, would be a major increase on its sales over the past 12 months. Losses are expected to turn into profits real soon, with the analysts forecasting kr5.51 in per-share earnings. Previously, the analysts had been modelling revenues of kr973m and earnings per share (EPS) of kr3.57 in 2025. There has definitely been an improvement in perception recently, with the analysts substantially increasing both their earnings and revenue estimates.

Taking a look at the bigger picture now, one of the ways we can understand these forecasts is to see how they compare to both past performance and industry growth estimates. It's clear from the latest estimates that BioArctic's rate of growth is expected to accelerate meaningfully, with the forecast 4x annualised revenue growth to the end of 2025 noticeably faster than its historical growth of 14% p.a. over the past five years. Compare this with other companies in the same industry, which are forecast to grow their revenue 18% annually. It seems obvious that, while the growth outlook is brighter than the recent past, the analysts also expect BioArctic to grow faster than the wider industry.
The Bottom Line
The biggest takeaway for us from these new estimates is that analysts upgraded their earnings per share estimates, with improved earnings power expected for next year. They also upgraded their revenue estimates for next year, and sales are expected to grow faster than the wider market. The clear improvement in sentiment should be enough to get most shareholders feeling more optimistic about BioArctic's future.
