Some have more dollars than sense, they say, so even companies that have no revenue, no profit, and a record of falling short, can easily find investors. Unfortunately, high risk investments often have little probability of ever paying off, and many investors pay a price to learn their lesson.
If, on the other hand, you like companies that have revenue, and even earn profits, then you may well be interested in Zordix (NGM:ZORDIX B). Now, I'm not saying that the stock is necessarily undervalued today; but I can't shake an appreciation for the profitability of the business itself. Loss-making companies are always racing against time to reach financial sustainability, but time is often a friend of the profitable company, especially if it is growing.

Zordix's Improving Profits
Even modest earnings per share growth (EPS) can create meaningful value, when it is sustained reliably from year to year. So EPS growth can certainly encourage an investor to take note of a stock. Like a firecracker arcing through the night sky, Zordix's EPS shot from kr0.095 to kr0.20, over the last year. Year on year growth of 107% is certainly a sight to behold. That could be a sign that the business has reached a true inflection point.
Careful consideration of revenue growth and earnings before interest and taxation (EBIT) margins can help inform a view on the sustainability of the recent profit growth. While we note Zordix's EBIT margins were flat over the last year, revenue grew by a solid 86% to kr34m. That's progress.

Since Zordix is no giant, with a market capitalization of kr296m, so you should definitely check its cash and debt before getting too excited about its prospects.
Are Zordix Insiders Aligned With All Shareholders?
Many consider high insider ownership to be a strong sign of alignment between the leaders of a company and the ordinary shareholders. So we're pleased to report that Zordix insiders own a meaningful share of the business. Actually, with 37% of the company to their names, insiders are profoundly invested in the business. I'm always comforted by solid insider ownership like this, as it implies that those running the business are genuinely motivated to create shareholder value. Valued at only kr296m Zordix is really small for a listed company. That means insiders only have kr109m worth of shares, despite the large proportional holding. That might not be a huge sum but it should be enough to keep insiders motivated!
Is Zordix Worth Keeping An Eye On?
Zordix's earnings per share growth have been levitating higher, like a mountain goat scaling the Alps. That sort of growth is nothing short of eye-catching, and the large investment held by insiders certainly brightens my view of the company. At times fast EPS growth is a sign the business has reached an inflection point; and I do like those. So yes, on this short analysis I do think it's worth considering Zordix for a spot on your watchlist.
