Executive Director Poonam Agrawal Just Bought A Handful Of Shares In Airan Limited (NSE:AIRAN)
Whilst it may not be a huge deal, we thought it was good to see that the Airan Limited (NSE:AIRAN) Executive Director, Poonam Agrawal, recently bought ₹1.4m worth of stock, for ₹14.00 per share. Nevertheless, it only increased their shareholding by a minuscule percentage, and it wasn't a massive purchase by absolute value, either.

Insider Ownership of Airan
I like to look at how many shares insiders own in a company, to help inform my view of how aligned they are with insiders. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. Airan insiders own about ₹822m worth of shares (which is 44% of the company). This kind of significant ownership by insiders does generally increase the chance that the company is run in the interest of all shareholders.
So What Does This Data Suggest About Airan Insiders?
It is good to see recent purchasing. And an analysis of the transactions over the last year also gives us confidence. Along with the high insider ownership, this analysis suggests that insiders are quite bullish about Airan. That's what I like to see! While we like knowing what's going on with the insider's ownership and transactions, we make sure to also consider what risks are facing a stock before making any investment decision.
