Mr. Milind Barve serves as the Managing Director of HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd. Mr. Barve joined the firm in July 2002. Previously, he served as the General Manager of Treasury at HDFC Ltd. and headed the department for 14 years. Mr. Barve was responsible for the management of HDFC's Treasury portfolio and for raising funds from Financial Institutions and Capital Markets. Previously, he was also the Head of Marketing for retail deposit products. Mr. Barve is also a Director of Association of Mutual Funds in India, Financial Planning Standards Board, India and Institution for Mutual Fund Intermediaries. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Mr. Barve is a Chartered Accountant. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
