Biography

PT Bayan Resources Tbk, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the open cut mining and sale of coal in Kalimantan. It operates through Coal and Non-Coal segments. The company produces semi-soft coking, low sulfur, and sub-bituminous coal. It has rights to mine five coal contracts of works and three Kuasa Pertambangan’s with a concession area of 81,265 hectares. The company also operates a Balikpapan coal terminal located in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. It owns and manages 11 tugboat units, 15 barge units, and 2 floating transfer station units. In addition, the company is involved in the provision of mining contractor, construction, transportation, and trading services. PT Bayan Resources Tbk was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia.
