Flat Glass Group Co., Ltd. Provides Preliminary Unaudited Consolidated Group Earnings Guidance for the Six Months Ended 30 June 2026 Flat Glass Group Co., Ltd. provided preliminary unaudited consolidated group earnings guidance for the six months ended 30 June 2026. For the period, the group expects the loss attributable to owners of the parent will range from RMB 300 million to RMB 400 million, as compared to a net profit attributable to owners of the parent of RMB 261.09 million for the six months ended 30 June 2025. The expected loss is primarily due to a combination of the following factors: During the Reporting Period, due to the overall volatility in the photovoltaic industry, the Company's photovoltaic glass business segment has been under operational pressure. Based on preliminary estimates, the Company expects to record a net loss attributable to Shareholders of the parent company for the period. This was mainly driven by a combination of temporary industry-wide supply-demand imbalances and sustained declines in selling prices, which are considered to be periodical impacts arising from industry adjustments. The Company expects to recognise impairment provisions in respect of glass furnaces undergoing cold repair and certain photovoltaic glass inventories. During the Reporting Period, affected by structural adjustments and temporary overcapacity in the photovoltaic industry, the Company expects to record a net loss. Nevertheless, the Company maintains strong comprehensive competitive advantages in the photovoltaic glass sector. From a financial perspective, the Company has long adhered to prudent operating strategies, with a healthy balance sheet and ample cash reserves. Announcement • Jun 30

New minor risk - Financial position The company has a high level of debt. Net debt to equity ratio: 42% This is considered a minor risk. Having a high level of debt increases the company's balance sheet risk. The company has a higher interest repayment burden, leading to the need to allocate a greater amount of its earnings towards servicing the debt, potentially limiting growth options or shareholder distributions. It can also increase the risk of bankruptcy if business conditions deteriorate enough that the company can no longer meet its debt obligations. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Minor Risks High level of debt (42% net debt to equity). Large one-off items impacting financial results. New minor risk - Earnings quality The company has large one-off items impacting its financial results. One-off items were 20% of the size of the rest of the company's trailing 12-month earnings before tax. This is considered a minor risk. One-off items are incomes or expenses that the company does not expect to repeat in future periods. Examples include profits from the sale of a business or expenses from a restructuring or legal settlements. If the company's reported statutory earnings include a large proportion of one-off items it means they may be an unreliable indicator of its true business performance as the earnings were skewed by these incomes or expenses. This is currently the only risk that has been identified for the company. Announcement • Apr 17

New minor risk - Insider selling There has been significant insider selling in the company's shares over the past 3 months. Total value of shares sold: HK$5.2m This is considered a minor risk. There are several reasons why an insider may be selling, including to cover a tax obligation or pay for some other expense. However, we generally consider it a negative if insiders have been selling, especially if they do so below the current price. It implies that they considered a lower price to be reasonable. This is a weak signal, but if there is a pattern of unexplained selling, it can be a sign the insider believes the company's stock is overpriced. Note: We only include open market transactions and private dispositions of directly owned stock by individuals, not by corporations or trusts. Currently, the following risks have been identified for the company: Major Risk Interest payments are not well covered by earnings (2.6x net interest cover). Minor Risks Large one-off items impacting financial results. Profit margins are more than 30% lower than last year (2.1% net profit margin).
