It operates through five segments: EPC and Consultancy, Power Generation, Financing, Manufacturing and Trading Business, and All Other Segments. The company engages in the provision of consulting services; and design, equipment and supply, installation, EPC and project development, investment, and operation for various types of photovoltaic power plants and biomass power generation plants, as well as engineering services for petrochemical and municipal engineering projects. It also provides financial leasing solutions for the nuclear power, clean energy, and energy-saving industries; and manufactures and trades in solar power related products. The company was formerly known as China Nuclear Industry 23 International Corporation Limited and changed its name to China Nuclear Energy Technology Corporation Limited in July 2015. The company was founded in 2011 and is based in Wanchai, Hong Kong. China Nuclear Energy Technology Corporation Limited is a subsidiary of China He Investment (Hong Kong) Company Limited.
