Oil and Gas Development Company Limited Announces Successful Testing and Completion of Development Well Chak 63-05 Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) announced the successful completion of Chak 63-05, a new development well located in Chak 63 Development & Production Lease (D&PL), District Sanghar, Sindh. During production testing through a 32/64-inch choke, the well produced 600 barrels of condensate per day (BPD) and 10.5 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMSCFD), with a Wellhead Flowing Pressure (WHFP) of 2,580 psig. The well was spudded on April 20, 2026, drilled to a depth of 3,325 meters, and completed in the Massive Sand reservoir. The well will be connected to the SSGC system, and activities for its early monetization are underway. OGDCL, as Operator, holds a 62.5% working interest in the lease, while Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL) and Orient Petroleum Inc. Limited (OPL) hold 22.5% and 15%, respectively. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited Announces Commencement of Gas Production from Sahito 1 Discovery Well in Khewari Exploration License Oil and Gas Development Company Limited announced that further to the disclosure dated March 26, 2026 regarding the gas discovery at Sahito-1 from the Lower Goru Formation (Massive Sand) in Khewari Exploration License, the company is pleased to inform that the well has successfully been brought into production. Sahito-1 is currently producing 6.0 MMSCFD of gas. Production is expected to be progressively ramped up following the planned expansion of surface facilities. To facilitate early monetization of the discovery, OGDCL has laid a 6-inch, 5 km flowline connecting the well to the Suleman Gathering Facility forward processing at the Sinjhoro Plant. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited Revives Gas Production from Jand-1 Well Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has successfully revived gas production from Jand-1 well, located in Attock District, Punjab, marking a notable operational achievement. Following recompletion and targeted stimulation, Jand-1 well is currently producing over 21 MMSCFD of gas through a 32/64" choke at wellhead flowing pressure (WHFP) of 3,585 psi, representing a substantial increase over its previous production level of around 7.0 MMSCFD. The well was initially brought on production in 2019 through Dakhni Gas Processing Plant and was producing gas with a high H2S concentration of approximately 8% (~80,000 ppm). Subsequently, production ceased due to mechanical failure under challenging downhole conditions associated with the sour gas environment. Based on in-house technical assessments and risk analysis, OGDCL successfully executed the revival plan through its own technical team and deployed equipment. The operation included safe retrieval of downhole materials and restoration of well integrity under challenging conditions. The operations were carried out in accordance with stringent health, safety, and environmental standards. The well has been recompleted with corrosion-resistant tubing suitable for sour service to ensure safe and sustained operations. This development reflects OGDCL's continued focus on optimizing existing assets through technical expertise and effective resource utilization, contributing to enhanced domestic hydrocarbon supply. The well is currently producing approximately 5,300 barrels of oil per day (BPD), 17 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMSCFD), and 15 metric tons of LPG, reflecting the well's production potential. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited Commences Oil Production from Pasakhi-13 Oil and Gas Development Company Limited has successfully commenced oil production from its development well Pasakhi-13, marking a historic milestone as Pakistan's first successful horizontal oil well in clastic reservoir (lower Goru - A sand). Pasakhi-13 is located in District Hyderabad, Sindh province and producing 460 barrels of oil per day (BPD). The well was drilled to a measured depth of 2,966 meters, including a 546-meter horizontal section with application of geo-steering technology, enabling precise navigation within a narrow 3-meter drilling window to optimally target the sweet spot within reservoir. Furthermore, the well was completed and tested using a short string Electric Submersible Pump (ESP), optimized for horizontal well configurations. Oil & Gas Development Company Limited and Government Holdings (Private) Limited Makes Oil Discovery At the Exploratory Well Chakar-1, Located in District Tando Allah Yar, Sindh Province Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), as Operator (95%) of the TAY Exploration License (E.L), along with its joint venture partner Government Holdings (Private) Limited (GHPL) with 5% carried interest, has made an oil discovery at the exploratory well Chakar-1, located in District Tando Allah Yar, Sindh Province. Chakar-1 was spudded on June 02, 2025, as an exploratory well under the Tando Allah Yar Exploration License and drilled down to a total depth of 1,926 meters into the Upper Shale of the Lower Goru Formation. Based on the interpretation of wireline logs and Reservoir Evaluation Services (RES) log, Drill Stem Test (DST) was carried out in the B-Sand, followed by testing with an Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP). The well flowed 275 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) through a 32/64" choke at a wellhead flowing pressure (WHFP) of 400 psi. Furthermore, during formation testing using RES, oil was encountered in the Lower Ranikot formation. A second DST/ESP is now being conducted to further assess its hydrocarbon potential. This marks the 13th discovery in the TAY E.L and reflects the joint venture's sustained efforts to assess and unlock the hydrocarbon potential of the block. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited Announces Production Commencement from B-Sand-Sand-Sand- Lower Goru Formation Oil & Gas Development Company Limited announced the successful revival of Dars West-2 Well, achieving hydrocarbon production from a new interval; the B-Sand of the Lower Goru Formation. Baloch-2 well was spudded-in on February 24, 2024 and drilled down to total depth of 3920m TVD in Sembar Formation as an exploratory effort by OGDCL, with in-house evaluation and technical support from its Joint Venture Partners (JVPs). Based on the results of wireline logs interpretation, Drill Stem Test-3 in the Sembar Formation has tested 6.8 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD) of gas and 388 Barrels of Condensate per Day (BCPD) through choke size 32/64'' at Well Head Flowing Pressure (WHFP) of 2180 Pounds per Square Inch (Psi). This discovery marks the first milestone in Sinjhoro Block from Sembar Formation. Sembar Formation is known for its promising source potential and is widely distributed across the Middle and Lower Indus basin of Pakistan. Referring to the information previously disclosed to the Stock Exchanges on July 29, 2024, and August 06, 2024, the cumulative production from Lumshiwal, Kawargarh, and Lockhart formations at Razgir-1 Exploratory well has now reached 54.3 MMSCFD of gas and 562 BPD of condensate. OGDCL is working closely with MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Co. B.V. for early monetization of Razgir Well 1 discovery. In pursuit of enhancing production efficiency and maximizing resource recovery, the Company has successfully revitalized Kunnar-8 well. The well was re-evaluated for the potential of the Lower Goru upper sands and comprehensively re-completed with an Electrical Submersible Pump. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited Announces Gas Discovery At Kaleri Shum 01 Oil and Gas Development Limited, being the operator of Kalchas Exploration Licence (operator, 50%) along with Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL, 50%) as Joint Venture Partner has made a Gas discovery at Kaleri Shum-01 well located in Rajanpur (Tribal area), Punjab Province, Pakistan. Kaleri Shum-01 was spudded on 31st Dec, 2021 to test the hydrocarbon potential of Pab, Fortmunro/Mughalkot and Parh formations. The well was drilled down to depth of 1,907m. Based on the results of wireline logs interpretation, the operator has successfully conducted four DSTs in Parh, Fortmunro/Mughalkot, Pab and Ranikot formations. During Drill Stem Test (DST)-1 in Parh & Fortmunro/Mughalkot formations, the well flowed at a rate of 1.24 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD) Gas, through choke size 32/64'' at Well Head Flowing Pressure (WHFP) of 220 Pounds per Square Inch (PSI). DST-2 into Fortmunro/Mughalkot Formations, the well tested 0.489MMSCFD Gas through choke size 32/64'' at WHFP of 300PSI. The well also tested 0.192 MMSCFD Gas from Pab Sandstone during DST-3 through choke size 32/64'' at WHFP of 10-75PSI. DST-4 conducted Ranikot Formation, the well tested 0.16MMSCFD Gas through choke size 32/64'' at WHFP of 100-130 PSI.
