He was one of the founding shareholders of VistaTex, a gas producing company with assets onshore US, recently acquired by Dome Energy. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Petroneft Resources Plc since April 24, 2016. Mr. Sturt serves as a Non-Executive director of Petrosibir AB a Swedish company with oil and gas interests in Russia. He holds a BSc honours degree in Earth Sciences from Kingston Polytechnic University, an MSc degree in Exploration Geophysics from Leeds University and a postgraduate diploma in business administration from Herriott Watt University.
